E-Structors Named One of 50 Fastest Growing Businesses

  • January 23, 2012

E-Structors was recently recognized as one of the 50 Fastest Growing Businesses in Baltimore by SmartCEO magazine.

The electronics recycling company in Elkridge and 49 other Maryland businesses on the "Future 50" list were featured in the January edition of SmartCEOa publication whose distribution includes Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

The average company growth for a Future 50 company over a 3-year period is 71 percent, making those named to the list truly rapidly growing businesses.

"We have been very fortunate to have such a growing and emerging business, even in these difficult times," said Mike Keough, president and cofounder of E-Structors.

Collectively, the "Future 50" employ more than 26,000 people and produce $5 billion in revenue, according to SmartCEO magazine.

Of those companies named to the 2012 list, 26 have appeared on the list before. This was the fourth time in five years that E-Structors made the list.

"It's a really great honor to make it on the list again," said Keough.

This is not the first award for rapid business growth that E-Structors has received. In 2011, it was named the 26th fastest growing private company in Baltimore, according to the Baltimore Business Journal, and it was #1,388 on the INC. 5000 list this year.

"It is always nice to be recognized for our achievements, but in the end it is our loyal clients who have made all this possible," said Keough.
