Harvest Moon Weekend - Hurricane Sandy Fundraiser

- Description: November’s monthly event at Peralynna focuses on helping victims of Hurricane Sandy. People are encouraged to bring donations or monetary assistance to Pralynna during the Harvest Moon Weekend Events.

Mid Atlantic Deaf and Hard of Hearing Festival

- When: Saturday, Nov. 17, 9 a.m.
- Description: Deaf and Hard of Hearing Festival is held at the Howard County Fairgrounds. All are welcome.

- Where: Columbia Center of Theatrical Art, 6655 Dobbin Rd, Columbia, MD
- When: Saturday, Nov. 17, 1:30 p.m.
- Description: This is a program that helps children with communication disorders and social skills needs improve their communication abilities through musical theatre.

- When: Saturday, Nov. 17, 8 a.m.
- Description: St. Jude supporters are invited to walk to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

- Description: Victoria Vox (ukelele and vocals) and Katie Chambers (cello) will perform at the Howard County Historical Society Museum on November 16, 2012 as part of the ongoing museum concert series.
