Police Find Burglar with Tools in Vacant Elkridge Home

The following information was provided by the Howard County Police Department.

 

Police charged a 51-year-old man with burglary after finding him in a vacant Elkridge home with tools, according to a report from the Howard County Police Department (HCPD).

At approximately 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 12, an officer went into a boarded-up house on the 7100 block of Montgomery Road that had been burglarized before after police noticed what they deemed a suspicious vehicle outside, said HCPD.

Inside the home, the officer found a man who had tools in his possession. The officer arrested the man, who was charged with first-degree burglary.
