Police Release Photos of 'Persons of Interest' in Black Friday Robbery

Anne Arundel County police distributed images of six young men in connection to a robbery of a teen early Friday morning at Arundel Mills.

Anne Arundel County police have distributed several photos of "persons of interest" in relation to the robbery of a teenager at Arundel Mills on Friday morning.

Police released surveillance photos showing six young men and also distributed images of the type of jacket allegedly stolen from the teen.

Detectives are actively investigating the case and said they believe at least five suspects walked up behind the victim near the Bed Bath and Beyond store at Arundel Mills shortly after 2 a.m. Friday. Police said one of the suspects punched the teen as he walked outside and another stole a bag containing the items the boy purchased. The items included a jacket with the words "Reckless Cult."

The victim sustained a minor injury but was not hospitalized and his parents were contacted.

Anyone with information on the case and the persons of interest is asked to contact Detective Heinecke of the Western District at 410-222-6155 or the Anne Arundel County Police Department at 410-222-8610.

Now, this is a shocker...animalistic behavior at Arundel Mills. I want to personally thank the good people of MD for voting more gambling at the Live casino, which will continue to perpetuate this type of criminal bevahior from the type of people that now frequent there. Arundel Mills lost my business a loooong time ago, along with several of my friends.

Oh please. The place was popular with thugs long before the casino came in. Typical asinine comment based on your own version of reality.

Robberies and violence has been a major problem before the casino. I can recall the past two years of reading about shootings outside Dave and Busters and people getting robbed in broad daylight hours. During the holiday's it's worse than the rest of the year.

This is exactly why I don't feel comfortable alone at Arundel Mills. Look at the pictures. They are not shopping. They are looking for victims. And this type of "animalistic behavior" has been a problem there nearly since the place opened. It has nothing to do with the casino.

There may have been crime there before, but I don't think any of you can say the casino has helped the crime or traffic situation. I just avoid this dump like the plague.

@ Chris W: Why the insult regarding my "asinine" comment? First of all, it is very immature to insult other's points of view. Sorry to have to talk you through that. Plus, I'm not sure many folks would disagree with my sentiment about the crime. Secondly, my original point is that while the crime did exist before the casino (agreed), it perhaps only helped to perpetuate the crime thereafter. I know people who work in other casinos and their sentiments are the same. These are people who work there, day by day.
Sorry to confuse you with such big words, in my original post Chris. Cheers.

Sorry, but when you try to pass of your opinion as fact, I will call it what it is. You have no proof whatsoever that crime has increased because of the casino. You just don't like the casino and use this incident to bash people that are not as "enlightened" as you.

You are entitled to your opinion, but not your own reality.

Having the ability to shop online, why on earth would anyone want to deal with the dreadful malls and the subhumans that inhabit them?

@Chris W

If it's not my reality, then whose is it?
