Careful on the roads.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Howard County, warning that winds could gust as fast has 50 mph at times.
In addition to trash and patio furniture on the roads, high winds can also create problems for drivers according to NWS, especially those that are particularly light or tall.
The good news – at least for some of us – is that there isn’t any snow on the way, according to Carrie Suffern at NWS.
Tonight will be cold though. Temperatures will drop to about 24 degrees and winds should calm to about 13 mph according to NWS.
