Music for Missions is a family friendly fundraising event with great live music provided by Beautiful Tragedy, Michael Hamilton and others. Two churches, CrossLife Community Church and Matt's House Church, are coming together to raise funds for a joint missions trip to the Dominican Republic. All of the funds raised will support the team that is going to serve in the Dominican Republic at the Pimental Project/MIVA school. During the trip, the team will run an Olympic VBS, construction projects for the school and locals, street evangelism and other school related items.Come on out and enjoy coffee, tea, soda, home baked goods, and other snacks for purchase as well as family friendly music.Tickets are available for a suggested donation of $15 per person in advance, $17 at the door. More About Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department
Staffed 24/7 by career firefighters, the Elkridge fire station is also home to scads of voluntary staff: the Ladies Auxiliary who plan fund-raisers; volunteer firefighters supplementing the full-time team; and 9 to 15-year-olds enrolled in the Junior Firefighter Program. Lenaham Hall, accessible from the station's rear parking lot, is also a "hot spot." The gathering place opens its doors to the community regularly for youth dances, pancake breakfasts, and purse bingo (where the prize is a designer handbag).
