Guests attending this exciting event will be more than just spectators\, as they enjoy the unique experience of witnessing two spectacular area chefs battle it out in the prep kitch en right on the main floor. Each evening two chef teams go head-to-head to prepare an appetizer\, entré\;e and dessert for each of three e xpert judges\, as well as amuse bouche portions of their entrees for&nbs p\;"Judging Experience" ticket holders and a few lucky randomly selected audience member judges. Their creations are scored on creativity\, pres entation and taste\, and only one chef advances to the next round. At th e end of this tournament only one of the 16 competing chefs will emerge as THE Mason Dixon Master Chef! There will be two alternating Masters of Ceremonies for the event\, Sergio Vitale and Richard Todd Karoll. Sergi o Vitale\, is returning as MC on Monday nights\, he is a well-known Balt imore restaurateur and co-owner of Zagat&rsquo\;s highest scoring Italia n restaurant in Maryland - Aldo&rsquo\;s. He also co-owns Chazz: A Bronx Original\, with academy award winner Chazz Palminteri. Richard Todd Kar oll will be MC on Tuesday evenings\, the former cake decorator at Charm City Cakes was featured on the Food Network&rsquo\;s top-rated Ace of Ca kes for two seasons. He is currently General Manager of the Red Star Res taurant Group in \;Baltimore. Finally\, and best of all\, guests wil l be supporting a local charity\, since 10% of the net proceeds from tic ket sales will go directly to Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland (http: //www.mealsonwheelsmd.org/). \; The event kicks off June 25th with t wo competitions held per week on Mondays and Tuesdays most weeks until S eptember 10th.
