During this project update, the public can review and comment on environmental information that has been collected to date at each of the four candidate sites for the proposed CSX intermodal facility.
An intermodal facility is a place where trains and trucks can swap cargo.
CSX and Maryland Department of Transportation have partnered to find a location in central Maryland and announced the four candidate sites, including Hanover Road at Race Road, earlier this year.

More About Elkridge Landing Middle School
With more than 300 PTA members and almost 700 students, Elkridge Landing draws on families and communities to help educate its pupils. The school has many honors to its credit, including designation as a Healthy Reward School and a 2010 PBIS award (for positive behavioral interventions and supports). It has embraced block scheduling and offers several nontraditional classes, such as Consumer Sciences, to engage students.
