Howard County Snowfall Totals - Marriottsville Measures Four Inches

Spotters reported between 1 and 4.2 inches of snow fell in different locations around the county in Sunday's storm.


The National Weather Service reported the following unofficial spotter snowfall estimates for several different locations around the county Monday morning. CoCoRaHS is a weather cooperative.

HOWARD COUNTY

Southeast Marriottsville - 4.2 inches at 8:00 a.m. Monday  (COCORAHS) 

North Columbia -  2.9 inches at 7:00 a.m. Monday (COCORAHS) 

Northwest Columbia - 2.5 inches at 7:30 a.m. Monday  (COCORAHS) 

East Columbia - 1.5 inches at 7:00 a.m. Monday (COCORAHS)
 
Southwest Elkridge - 1.0 inch at 8:30 a.m. Monday (COCORAHS)

The county wasn't hit as seriously as neighboring counties like Carroll County and Baltimore County, which reported snowfall totals as high as 6.5 inches in certain locations.
