Cool Temperatures to Return to Elkridge as Week Ends

The week ahead in weather, according to the National Weather Service.

It was a spring-like weekend that saw temperatures rise into the mid-60s, but don't expect it to continue into the week.

On Monday, the high is expected to be 59 degrees, with a light wind. Monday evening temps will drop to about 51 degrees and there's an 80 percent chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service.

The rain is expected to continue on Tuesday, with between a quarter and a half inch of precipitation falling, as temperatures will reach a high near 59 and a low of 35 Tuesday night.

The rain stops Wednesday as things cool down. Wednesday's high is 53 with a low near 30.

Thursday is expected to be sunny, with a high of 45 and low of 31.
