What Would You Improve in Gaithersburg in 2013?

If you could make a New Year's resolution for Gaithersburg, what would it be?

More than 45 percent of Americans make a resolution every year, according to statisticbrain.com. Some people vow to live a healthier lifestyle, others promise to spend more time with family, and many say they will try to save money.

As millions of Americans make resolutions to improve their lives, what could we do right here in Gaithersburg to make it an even better place to live?

What is on your Gaithersburg wish list? What is one thing you would improve in 2013?

Tell us in the comment section below or blog about why you love living here!

The crime, I am rarely out alone at night... 1. More police patroling 2. Sell police cars that are out of commission to the home owner corporations and aparment complexes. To park throughout the community... It will make it look like a lot of cops live in that community and hinder some of the crime.

Enforce immigration laws ! The illegals have choked this area and as a result have destroyed the good life as it was 15-20 years ago.

See the local elected "leaders" (and i use that term loosely) do what is in the best interests of Gaithersburg and not let their personal interests dominate the agenda.

End this high-density development now. Many of us moved to Gaithersburg years ago because we wanted a small town, local community atmosphere. These high-density townhouses and apartments (such as the new monstrosity on E. Diamond) are destroying our town.
