I would like to introduce a new blog for the Dads in our community.
So, Who is this guy and why does he want to blog about toolboxes?
Well, I am not really blogging about toolboxes. I am blogging about being a Dad. Every Dad has a toolbox; some have more tools than others. So on this blog, the tools are the traits, skills, ideas, and other tidbits of info that Dads may have to share. Why am I doing this? I wanted to create an area where Dads can bounce ideas off each other, either anonymously or publicly.
The Toolbox is what holds these traits and what makes a Dad unique. I have learned so much from my Dad, if I can teach my kids half of what I have learned and if my kids look up to me half as much as I look up to my Dad… I will be one proud Poppa!
So from time to time, I am going to share with you what is in my toolbox. The toolbox may include items that maybe funny, random thoughts for the day or serious subject matters like community involvement, personal finance, and sportsmanship… you never know what might be mentioned,so please check out my blog.
We will be covering many topics that Dads talk about to one another. Humor, Sports, Community Involvement, Faith, and Technology, are just some of the topics that we will be discussing. There are several blog posts and website links to some great websites that Dads find interesting.
