The Hanover shopping center said that the store is "first in market."

Men who like high-end accessories will soon have somewhere close to home to shop.

In early spring, the Coach Men’s Factory store will open at Arundel Mills Mall, announced the Hanover shopping center in a press release this week.

The Coach outlet store for men will sell leather accessories like wallets and satchels plus shoes, jackets, watches, travel accessories and colognes, said the release.

This is the second Coach factory store to open at Arundel Mills in the past year; the Coach Factory Store for women opened in spring 2011.

“We enjoyed a banner year in 2011…and look forward to welcoming more new retailers in 2012,” said Gene Condon, general manager of Arundel Mills, in the press release.

In 2011, approximately 18 stores opened at Arundel Mills, said spokeswoman Lauren Horsley, including  Best Buy Mobile, Andrew Marc, Talbots Outlet, Coach Factory Store, DKNY Company Store, Aerosoles and Merrell.

Other Coach Men's Factory stores have sprung up around the country, mostly in Texas and California, but so far, none in Maryland. The closest locations to Elkridge are Rehoboth Beach, DE, and Atlantic City, NJ.

The shopping center's announcement stated that Coach Men's Factory store will be "another first-in-market addition," citing Vince Camuto as an example among retailers that have recently entered Maryland's outlet landscape through Arundel Mills.
