As part of the grand opening festivities, Devine said there will be free tote bags for first 100 customers and different events, like face painting over the weekend.

There will also be tastings and some gift bags filled with "goodies," such as deli items.

"Green Valley Marketplace will have what we call our 'Green Valley favorites,'" said Devine. "We put a lot of work into finding and creating recipes for things that are what we think is a step above or different than the cookie-cutter items that you find in the grocery stores these days."

According to Devine, Green Valley Marketplace will offer tastings so customers can get a feel for the new store's selection. She said it will also offer competitive pricing.
