Hundreds Look to Casino for Work

The soon-to-be-opening casino held a job fair Saturday.


A few months before its actual opening, the casino at Arundel Mills drew hundreds to test their luck in the job market on Saturday, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Maryland Live! casino is looking to fill positions ranging from bartenders to bankers.

The casino's general manager told WJZ in an interview earlier this year that recruiters were looking for "'personality.'"

At that point, there were reportedly 1,500 jobs available.

Now, the Baltimore Sun said 900 positions remain and will be filled in the next six weeks.

Priority will be given to Anne Arundel County residents, according to Maryland Live!
