A Score against Hunger for Victory Packaging!

With over thirty years of success in the packaging services and distribution industry, Victory Packaging not only provides services to distribute goods, but also contributes to the local community. Partnering with “Move for Hunger” a non-profit, Victory employees scored a huge win by collecting over 1043 pounds of food in less than 2 weeks! “Move for Hunger” is a “hunger relief organization that works with relocation companies to collect extra food from people who don't need it.” Move for Hunger then connects companies to their local food banks. Victory Packaging’s fight against hunger occurs every year in the Spring. For the past three years, over 60 Victory offices in the US, Canada, and Mexico compete against each other to see who can collect the most food. Winners receive bragging rights for the year and recognition from Victory management. Victory’s Jessup office was recognized in the top 10 of collections. When asked what motivates employees to donate, Mason Shelby, a Victory employee in Jessup stated, “I can afford to donate and I want to give knowing there’s people who can’t buy food.”
