Small Businessman Gives Hands-On Help
Computer troubleshooting is Victor Rivera's specialty.
If you are having a problem with a computer, don't go to the Geek Squad or Office Depot for computer help and take the chance of paying for an unessesary repair or getting the wrong diagnosis on your computer. Just call a local young man named Mr. Victor Rivera. He is a local man who fixes computers and will do it for a fair price. In fact, Mr. Rivera just recently spent the whole day down at the NIH (National Instatue of Health) building in D.C. fixing their network.
He has a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in computer networking.
"I started working with kids with disabilities in Buffalo, NY, and after a year I decided that psychology wasn't what I was meant to work with," said Rivera. "I find psychology a very interesting career but I noticed that I needed a hands-on job. I always worked with computers while going through college and helping friends and family with their computer problems. I decided to go back to school to continue a computer career and after two more years of college, I received another bachelor's degree in network security and a minor in network administration."

Rivera has been working on networks for 20 years now in a field that started as a hobby.
"During school, I worked with a computer forensics lab as a techie," he said, "and found that this was what I loved to do."
