Blood Shortage in Howard County
The latest winter storms didn't just try the patience of motorists; they also took a toll on area blood donations. The Red Cross has put out the call to make up for the shortfall.
Runways and highways slowed to a crawl during the worst of last month's storms. But that's not all. The American Red Cross says blood donations barely trickled in during January's snow. Deanna LeBlanc reported from a Feb. 10 blood drive in Howard County to see just how much donations are down.
