Bridge Work Over Elkridge

Transportation officials anticipate work on the I-895 overpass on US 1 in Elkridge will be completed sometime this fall.

Bridge work has been ongoing near the Baltimore-Howard county line for several weeks as contractors repair the overpass.

The work, which costs $3.2 million, involves painting and cleaning five overpass bridges. It is entirely funded by toll payments, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.
