On June 20, The Cheesecake Factory opened up shop at Maryland Live! casino.

The Hanover location is the sixth Cheesecake Factory in Maryland. Others are in Columbia, Baltimore's Inner Harbor, , and .

Accessible inside and outside the casino, the newly opened Hanover eatery has 275 seats and encompasses 10,200 feet, according to a statement from The Cheesecake Factory.

It joins , Phillips Seafood, Live! Market Buffet and Noodles, which are also among the dining options at Maryland Live!

The Prime Rib steakhouse and Ram's Head concert venue will come online at the casino by October.

The Cheesecake Factory, which has more than 150 locations nationwide, is opening up to eight new locations in 2012. The Hanover restaurant is the second new one this year; the first was in Salt Lake City, UT, in March.

Even thouhg I live close to the one that is opening at Maryland Live, if I need to go to the Cheesecake Factory, I will be going to the one at Columbia Mall.

I agree with you Dean... know way do I want to get caught up in all that traffic mayhem and all the reviews of Maryland Live say you can't find parking so I will go to Columbia where I know there is a chance for parking!

Having gone last Friday night to eat there, I can tell you that the traffic actually flows well and there is plenty of parking the garage. Now the elevator situation is different, there is only one bank of four elevators and that is clearly inadequate. And the signs for elevators are misleading in the garage -- they lead you to non-existent elevators. But as far as the traffic and parking, that was not bad at all.

I went to Arundel Mills Mall today (on a weekend, no less!) and found absolutely no parking or traffic issues around the mall and environs, which of course includes the Maryland Live casino. Route 100 (and presumably the BW Parkway, which feeds Route 100 and mall/casino entrances) was a breeze. You people who got imprinted with the scenes of chaos and massive crowds on your TV screens during newscasts on opening day and the ensuing few days need to realize that that was only temporary what with all the excitement of the place opening. It is NOWHERE NEAR what it was like then and now. It is very, very manageable and the diverging diamond interchange was also not open during the first few days of the grand opening.
