“The Thomas Viaduct is an incredible stone structure, designed as it was for the small locomotives of the 19th century, yet still bearing the weight of modern heavy rail traffic. One of the nifty little touches that I have come to appreciate are the square openings at the base of the structure visible on Levering Avenue that carry a stream around and away from the stone.” -
