Man to appear in court about Loudon Avenue fire; Long Reach to grieve after homicide.

This morning an Elkridge man is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing regarding attempted murder and arson charges he's facing in connection with a February house fire on Loudon Avenue. Get the story here.

Tonight Councilman Calvin Ball (D-Elkridge/Columbia/Ellicott City/Jessup) will host a discussion about the recent of a Columbia teenager in Long Reach. In of 17-year-old Christian Lendell Hall on July 27, Howard County officials hope to "continue the healing process," discuss concerns and "promote public safety," said Ball in a press release.
