Elkridge Today: Flood Watch, Snow Possible

Fog, flooding and snow are in the forecast, according to the National Weather Service.

Keep your eyes peeled on your commute this morning; the National Weather Service said there are going to be foggy patches before 10 a.m.

This afternoon into the evening, the National Weather Service issued a flood watch for parts of Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C.

Howard County—which is included in the watch—could get periods of moderate to heavy rainfall, resulting in 1 to 2 inches of rain. According to the report, streams and creeks may overflow.

The high is 51 degrees and the low is 31 in Elkridge today, according to the National Weather Service, which stated that less than an inch of snow may fall in the evening, before 1 a.m. Thursday.
