A meteor shower isn't the only reason you might be looking up.
Today is the peak of the southern Delta Aquarid meteor shower. Sources say the most meteors will fall between midnight and dawn (Friday).
Also in the sky, you could see a low-flying plane from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will be NASA buzzing around the Baltimore-Washington area . To watch the flight pattern in real-time, click here.
Children, older adults, asthmatics and people with heart/lung conditions are advised not to exercise outside today in Howard, Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Harford and Carroll Counties. The Maryland Department of the Environment has issued an air quality alert indicating that pollutants could agitate these sensitive groups.
