Driving through Baltimore City? Think again!

Today's high is 70 degrees with a low of 46 in Elkridge, according to the National Weather Service.

On this day in 1966, the was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The railroad bridge, which passes through Elkridge by Levering Avenue and , was built in 1835.

Now in its 11th year, Baltimore Running Festival will be going on today in downton Charm City. The festival's founder Lee Corrigan, who runs a , showed on particularly exotic.

If you were planning on driving through Baltimore City, you might want to think again; these roads will be closed along the race route, according to the festival's organizers (follow link for full list):

  • Russell Steet at Camden; closed from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.
  • St. Paul/Light Street; closed from 7:45 a.m. to 10:35 a.m.
  • Howard Street to MLK; closed from 8:55 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Eutaw Street by M&T Bank Stadium; closed from 9:05 a.m. to 3:20 p.m.
  • Guilford Avenue to 28th Street to Howard Street; closed from 8:50 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Key Highway to Light Street; closed from 8 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
  • Light/Pratt/President to Lancaster; closed from 8:05 a.m. to noon
  • Boston/Lakeview/O’Donnell; closed from 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
