Today is the County Council’s public hearing. All citizens are welcome to testify at the , where five pieces of legislation are up for discussion:

• A bill that would enable Howard County to impound vehicles whose owners haven’t paid parking tickets within 90 days of the deadline.
• A resolution to approve the school system’s FY 2013 budget request and 2014–2018 capital improvement budget request.
• A bill to make the Hearing Examiner’s cases on the record for the Board of Appeals.
• A resolution to provide BGE with an easement on the Monarch Mills property in Ellicott City.
• A bill that would eliminate the  and transfer its responsibilities to the Department of Planning and Zoning.
