Rain is guaranteed, Elkridge Patch will be on a panel and hospital offers free seminar on breast cancer.

There’s a 100 percent chance of rain today in Elkridge. The high is 67 and the low is 54, according to the National Weather Service.

Elkridge Patch will be representing the Howard County Patches (did you know we're in Laurel, Ellicott City, Savage and Columbia?) on a panel at the Association of Community Services’ . Check it out—the meeting is at 12 p.m. at the Owen Brown Interfaith Center. We’ll be talking about how nonprofits can work with local media to get their messages on the public's radar. The Baltimore Sun, Business Monthly, Patuxent Publishing and HoCo Rising will also be there. 

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this evening, Howard County General Hospital is offering a  from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. to educate the public about the disease and the latest research.
