Elkridge Today: Salute to Veterans

Howard County Government announced the following in a news release:

• Offices, courts and animal shelter will be closed in observance of Veterans Day.
• Regular trash and recycling services will be in effect.
• The landfill will be open.
• Libraries will be closed.
• The North Laurel Community Center, Gary J. Arthur Community Center, Roger Carter Recreation Center and the Meadowbrook Athletic Complex will be open.
• The James H. and Anne E. Robinson Nature Center and Kiwanis-Wallas Recreation Center will be closed.
• All senior centers will be closed.
• Howard Transit and Connect-A-Ride will be operating on a regular weekday schedule.
• All parking regulations and fees will be in effect.

County offices will re-open for regular business hours on Monday, Nov. 14.
