Elkridge Today: September 3

County still offering free bottled water and meals, and Elkridge has some end-of-summer treats.

  • More than 1,500 Howard County customers were without power as of midnight Saturday. The county is providing ready-to-eat meals and bottled water at Glenwood Senior Center and North Laurel Community Center from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.   • There’s a high of 85 degrees and a low of 69 today in Elkridge, according to the National Weather Service. Sunday will bring a slight chance of rain, so people may want to get those outdoor activities in today.
