There’s a 90 percent chance of rain today, according to the National Weather Service (NWS), which has issued a hazardous weather outlook for Elkridge and most of central Maryland. Heavy rainfall is a possibility “as tropical moisture interacts with a slow-moving cold front,” according to the NWS. “Flash flooding may result. Heavy precipitation and potential flooding could last well into next week.”
