On this day in 2003, U.S. attorney Jonathan Luna was reported missing from his Elkridge home, according to the Maryland Missing Persons Network. After his body was found the next morning in Lancaster County, PA, the medical examiner ruled it a homicide, said ABC News, which reported on the unsolved mystery in 2009; according to ABC, other media outlets said there was reason to believe the death was suicide and the investigation stalled.
