Holiday Festival of Trains

• Where: B&O Railroad Museum: Ellicott City Station, 2711 Maryland Ave, Ellicott City
• When: Friday, Nov. 23 – Sunday, Jan. 27, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Description:  B&O Railroad museum's annual holiday celebration of toy trains and model railroading. New this year is a custom built 360 degree LEGO model train layout created by The Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area LEGO Train Club.

The Hubcaps

• Where: Turf Valley, 2700 Turf Valley Rd, Ellicott City
• When: Friday, Nov. 30, 8:30 p.m.
• Description:  Hubcaps perform a repertoire of Doo-Wop group harmony, Classic Rock and Roll, Rock-A-Billy, Motown, and R&B music.

Holiday Mart

• Where:  Gary J. Arthur Community Ctr, Mary Ellen Baker, Columbia
• When: Saturday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Description:  40th annual event including 140 juried artisans.

Sunday Santa Brunch

• Where:  Turf Valley, 2700 Turf Valley Rd., Ellicott City
• When:  Saturday, Dec. 2, 9, 16, 23, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
• Description:  Alexandra's Restaurant hosts a brunch with Santa including a buffet with kid-friendly fare.
• Cost: Adults: $30.95 / Children ages 4-12: $15.95 / Children under 4: Free

Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk

• Where:  Centennial Park, 10000 State Route 108, Columbia
• When:  Saturday, Dec. 1, 9:30 a.m.
• Description:  Arthritis Foundation's Jingle Bell 5k Run/Walk to benefit arthritis and related conditions.
• Cost: $30

Holiday Mart

• Where:  2400 Route 97, Cooksville
• When: Saturday, Dec. 1, 10 a.m.
• Description:  40th Annual Holiday Mart including 140 artisans, children’s craft corner, door prizes and more.
• Cost: $5

The Nutcracker Live at Bain

• Where:  Florence Bain Senior Center, 5470 Ruth Keeton Way, Columbia
• When:  Saturday, Dec. 1, 2 p.m.
