School Board Delays Middle School Decision
The Howard County Board of Education voted on Thursday to delay its decision on proposed middle school curriculum changes. 

Police have yet to question the woman who lived in the Columbia townhome where birds, rabbits and other creatures were found dead on Jan. 16.


During an appeal for state funding, the state comptroller took Baltimore County to task for having 60 schools that lack air conditioning. 


The Howard County Council expressed concerns about emergency communication procedures after three "gang-like" incidents in North Laurel, rock-throwing at a bus in Columbia and  near bus stops in Elkridge and Ellicott City.
