There's not a parade—like the one pictured—in Howard County, but here's where you're likely to find people and where you aren't, among other Labor Day tips:
- All Howard County Library branches will be closed Sunday and Monday.
- The Howard County animal shelter and landfill will be closed Monday, Sept. 5.
- Recycling and trash will not be collected on Monday, Sept. 5. Trash, recycling and yard waste collection will slide from Monday to Tuesday; Tuesday collections will slide to Wednesday, and so on.
- Parking regulations and fees will be in effect on Monday, Sept. 5.
- During Labor Day weekend, .
