What toys are kids asking Santa for this year in Maryland?
Topping off the toys' list the days before Christmas, this year's best sellers at Toys"R"Us include the Time For Your Checkup Doll and the 1980s comeback, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, according to Adrienne O'Hara, Toys"R"Us spokeswoman.
The items that are selling best in Maryland are also the ones selling best nationwide at the toys store, according to O'Hara, who described them below:

#1 - Disney Doc McStuffins Time For Your Check Up Doll
Doc McStuffins is a Disney Junior show that features a girl with stuffed animals and dolls that she nurses back to health. Time For Your Checkup Doll is one of the most popular in the series. She comes dressed in a lab coat and sings songs and repeats different phrases from the show.

#2 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Secret Sewer Lair Playset
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a 1980s comeback toy. The playset has a secret sewer layer, that is a four level, 4-foot tall set for the Ninja Turtles. It has an intricate background—a sewer with dirt and grime down below, a pizzaria, and a two-level apartment above.
#3 Tabeo Tablet Preloaded with 50 Apps
The 7-inch tablet for kids with a WiFi connection comes preloaded with 50 apps that are especially for children between the ages 5- and 12-years old. It also comes with safety features that allow parents to create customized profiles. Families with a 4-year-old daughter and 12-year-old son, for example, can customize access that they feel is appropriate for their children's age and skill levels—online and offline. Tabeo also has a store that has more than 7,000 apps for various age levels.

Toys"R"Us saw the YFliker Scooter had incredible popularity in the UK, so it brought the scooter over to the United States in time for the holidays. It has two prongs, and is different than the traditional scooter—riders place their right and left feet on the prongs of the scooter and sway their hips from left to right to move forward.
