Spring's Still Here: Week Ahead in Weather

Here's a look at the upcoming week's forecast, courtesy of the National Weather Service.

The first day of summer is almost three weeks away and we've still got some spring weather ahead of us. This week, temperatures will jump from the 50s to the 80s this week and we’ll have rainy days and sunny days, according to the National Weather Service.

Best to keep an umbrella and a pair of sunglasses close at all times.

Monday morning’s rain is expected to pick up after 2 p.m. Otherwise expect partly sunny skies and temperatures in the high-70s during the day, dropping to the low-50s at night, when clouds should clear.

The sun will be out Tuesday, and temperatures will reach the mid-70s during the day. Skies will remain clear Tuesday night, when temperatures drop to the mid-50s. 

Temperatures will reach the high-70s Wednesday, and skies will again be mostly sunny. Temperatures drop to the high-50s at night.

Temperatures should stay in the high-70s Thursday, and skies will remain sunny.  There's a 40 percent chance of showers Thursday night, when temperatures drop to the mid-60s.

There's a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms on Friday; temperatures will reach the high-70s. There’s a 50 percent chance of rain in the evening, too. Evening temperature should drop to the mid-60s.
