Day 6: Is Your Power Out?

As of midnight Thursday, BGE reported more than 3,000 Howard County residents were still in the dark after Friday's storm that at one point, left more than 800,000 Marylanders without power.

Do you know of outages in Elkridge? Add them to the map; click "add" in the map's upper right-hand corner and enter your location. Report outages and downed wires to BGE at 877-778-2222.

We realize if you're out of power, you may not be reading Patch; but if you're checking in from a friend's house, or you know your neighbors are in the dark, be sure to let us know.

BGE reports there are 3,111 Howard County customers without power as of midnight on July 5, and crews will be at the following locations Thursday:

Elkridge
Ellicott City
Glenwood
Cooksville
Highland
North Laurel
Sandy Spring
