Super Bowl Sunday in Elkridge

The New York Giants face off against the New England Patriots tonight in Indianapolis for Super Bowl XLVI. Watch it on NBC or at these Elkridge game-day destinations:

If you're planning on heading out for a drink, make sure you have a designated driver; Maryland State Police announced that they will be out in force for Super Bowl Sunday, with extra patrols for the event.

State police remind citizens that impaired driving in Maryland is having a blood alcohol level of .07 or above (check out how many drinks that is here).

"A first-time DUI offense can result in a fine of up to $1,000 and up to one year in jail, along with a license suspension of six months," said the Maryland State Police in a news release. "Troopers urge motorists to plan for alternatives if a sober designated driver is unavailable. Stay at a nearby hotel or at the event location until you are sober."
