Thunderstorms Move Toward Howard County

The National Weather Service has advised a strong storm is heading for Howard, Montgomery counties.

Just because the sun is going down doesn't mean the extreme weather is done for the day.

A strong thunderstorm is moving toward Howard and Montgomery counties, said the National Weather Service (NWS) in a statement issued at 7:25 p.m.  Thursday.

Heavy rain could limit visibility for drivers and there may also be hail, stated the NWS. In addition, Howard residents can anticipate winds of 40 to 50 mph, advised the NWS.
