The snow was expected to last through noon, according to the National Weather Service.

This “hint” of winter came after a warmer than average November and December, which vexed ski resorts across the state during the holiday season, according to the Baltimore Sun.

Temperatures will be in the 30s and 40s for the rest of the week, but are expected to reach a high of 54 on Saturday
