USA Today Talks to Elkridge Civil War, Romance Buff

The newspaper included a local woman who's a fan of Gone with the Wind.

An Elkridge woman was featured in USA Today for her love of a classic romance novel.

In its May 31 feature story on Gone With the Wind's 75th anniversary, USA Today included comments from Mary Broscious of Elkridge, who said she had watched the movie more than 40 times and read the book dozens of times too.

The 39-year-old told USA Today that she loved the classic romance story because protagonist Scarlett O’Hara “breaks all the molds,’” and Broscious said she was especially interested in Civil War memorabilia.
