Week of Scandals: Elkridge Cold Case Heats Up, Catonsville Speed Camera on Fire

On Wednesday, police found the remains of Christine Jarrett, reported missing in January 1991, and have charged Robert Jarrett, her former husband, with murder. The body was in the Jarretts' backyard on Claire Drive under a shed. For other stories on this case, see our Jarrett topic page.

Firefighters were called to South Rolling Road at 1:40 a.m. Friday to extinguish a speed camera that had been torched.

Police ordered a lockdown on Thursday at the Ellicott City school following reports of an armed individual in nearby woods.

Feds Raid Patapsco Flea Market
Citing counterfeiting and copyright infringement, federal agents seized sports apparel and other goods from the southwest Baltimore shopping center on Sunday after a two-and-a-half year investigation.
