What Elkridge is Saying About the Earthquake

An earthquake struck Virginia and rattled Maryland Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 1:55 p.m., the quake began, caused by what researchers say is the breaking and shifting of subterranean rock. Tremors extended as far as Boston, according to the Boston Globe, and Cleveland, according to the Associated Press.
