Meet Carri Wist, Elkridge Advertising Manager

Carri is getting to know Elkridge, so it's only fair you get to know her.

Say hello to Carri Wist, new local ad manager for Elkridge Patch.

Carri has lived in Maryland for most of her life and has more than 10 years of advertising experience in the region.

She has worked for Baltimore, Style, Johns Hopkins and Overture magazines. Carri also sold advertising for The Daily Record.

We asked Carri to take a few minutes out of her busy day to answer some questions:

Where do you live? I live in Reisterstown, the hometown where I grew up. 

How do you know Elkridge? A longtime family friend lives on Old Lawyers Hill Road, so I've spent time there. It's beautiful and historic.

What's the best part of your new job? Meeting new people all day long and learning the different aspects of each small business.

Why do you think Elkridge is awesome? I like the history behind Elkridge, especially since it used to be a port town.

Why should people advertise on Patch? Advertising on Patch is very affordable, with many different options to fit in any budget.

What are you listening to? Lately I have been into modern bluegrassAvett Brothers (I actually named my new 7-month-old double doodle Avett) and Mumford & Sons.
