Elkridge Heritage Society: December Gathering and Other News

December Gathering at St. Augustines on Thursday, December 27th, at 7pm. Donate to EHS on line now. Read what EHS has to offer you.

Our next general meeting is Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 7pm: Please join us for a Christmas-time visit to St. Augustine’s Church. There will be a tour and a little history presentation by Polly Thornton. We will gather in the vestibule of the church. All are invited back to the Brumbaugh House for refreshments afterwards. Hope you can join us!

Please note the Donate Button on the home page, www.elkridgeheritage.org, and also linked under the "Contact Us" tab. We now offer you the convenience of donating on line! Elkridge Heritage Society is in great need of funds. We are struggling each month to make our monthly bills of about $300 a month, and to move forward in improving the Brumbaugh House, inside and out. Please consider donating to EHS! A yearly membership is only $25 per person, or $35 for a family.

Since all our events are free, you may wonder what a membership buys you. It buys you a sense of pride in the renovations and upkeep of the Brumbaugh House and grounds, the preservation of Dr. Brumbaugh's office, and the housing and preservation of an ever-growing collection of Elkridge-related memorabilia and artifacts. We have many more ideas for membership perks, and we would also appreciate your input. Join our society and share your thoughts. Even if you can't come to our meetings, we are just an email away, at info@elkridgeheritage.org. See the pictures attached to get a feel for what EHS has done.
