The Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) would like to invite everyone to pay tribute to "Santa, Mrs. Claus & EVFD" by lining up on Old Washington Road on Saturday, December 15 at 10 am. The Fire Department has been transporting Santa for well over 25 years. This year, one of Santa's helpers (GenePoligardo) will be making his last run of bringing the "Christmas Spirit" to the Elkridge Area. After over 15 years, he is passing is "Santa" bells off to another member of EVFD. In the spirit of this long time tradition be will be transported in EVFD's antique 1947 Engine.
The Clauses will be visiting all of Elkridge starting on December 11. Listen for the sound of "Jingle Bells" on the Fire Truck horn. Please join your neighbors and gather together as a group on your street corner. Can goods or cash donations for the Christmas Food Baskets would be greatly appricated.
