The Greater Elkridge Community Association (GECA) and homeowners near Hanover and Race Road have joined forces to coordinate a public meeting to talk openly with their elected officials about what is going on in the search for a freight transfer station with CSX and the state.
"Wear something red to the meeting in support of the effort to have the Elkridge site removed from the list of locations proposed for an intermodal transfer station," said GECA president Howard Johnson. The meeting is open to the public.
