5 Things To Do with the Kids This Weekend in Greater Elkridge

Games, enchanted garden, ice skating, Santa and holiday theater made our list.

  • When: 11 a.m.–4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17
    Where:  in Elkridge
    Why Go: Kids can win presents to give their families. Throughout the day, there will be a Christmas play performed in the church as well.
    Pricing: Tickets are $1 to play four games. With proof of economic hardship like unemployment, a turn-off notice, etc., game tickets are free.
  • When: 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17
    Where: in Ellicott City
    Why Go: This holiday ice skating performance features 80 skaters from the Columbia Figure Skating Club.
    Cost: $12 per ticket 
  • When: 9 a.m.–12 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18
    Where: in Elkridge
    Why Go: Two hours of jumping will be fun for kids—and their parents, who get to take home worn-out little ones after they’ve gotten their picture taken with Santa and eaten breakfast at the “inflatable party zone” in Elkridge.
    Cost: $4 for kids ages 2–17 years
  • When: 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18
    Where: Laurel Mill Playhouse (508 Main Street) in Laurel
    Why Go: You’ll be reminded of the magic of Christmas while watching the Laurel Mill Playhouse cast perform this holiday favorite.
    Pricing: $13 general admission; $10 for seniors, military and those under 18
