5 Things To Do with the Kids This Weekend in Greater Elkridge

Two nighttime jaunts in Rockburn and a college fair are just some of the items that made our list.

    When: Friday, Oct. 14, at 8 p.m.
    Why Go: Learn about creatures living in the park with the help of a guide and flashlight.

  • FALL FUN AT CLARK'S FARM
    Where: in Ellicott City
    When: Saturday, Oct. 15, and Sunday, Oct. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
    Why Go: Petting zoo, pony rides, cow train (tell us what that is after you go!) and a hayride.
    Cost: Varies
  • Where: Howard County Library's When: Saturday, Oct. 15, at 2 p.m.
    Why Go: Kids can do hands-on experiments and hear from an American Chemical Society pro talk about science as it relates to everyday life.
    Cost: Free 
  • Where: in Elkridge
    When: Saturday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m.
    Why Go: S’mores, ghost stories, a hike and optional costumes.
    Cost: Free
  • Where: in Columbia
    When: Sunday, Oct. 16, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
    Why Go: There will be 140 colleges represented at this fair, which is organized by Howard County public schools. High school students of all ages are welcome.
