LIVE BLOG: Women's Empowerment Conference in Howard County
On-the-ground coverage of the symposium on women, careers and success, an event hosted by Pinnacle Empowerment Center of Elkridge and makingCHANGE of Columbia.
Approximately 120 women will converge in Columbia on Friday to discuss how to attain career and financial success.
"The experience, in essence, is designed to help women stop living their lives 'backwards,' and encourage them to turn around and seize the great opportunities that lie ahead," said an entry on the Women's Empowerment Conference blog.
The will be held at the from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. Elkridge Patch will be there live blogging, using the hashtag #empowermentevnt.
